IT Enabler Programme

Invitation to take part in our 12-month Information Technology Enabler (ITE) Programme

Are you a budding IT boffin or eager to gain ICT skills? Or do you know someone that is?

Edunova is looking for young unemployed adults who are aspiring to become junior facilitators or are interested in a career in IT Support in the South African Educational Sector.

The ITE Programme is Edunova’s flagship programme focused on unemployed youth. It is initially established to provide youth with 21st century knowledge, education and the skills needed to understand the complex, theoretical and applied uses of information technology in various areas of life. Edunova promotes training and work placement initiatives in a bid to help address skills development, job creation and poverty alleviation; ultimately changing the Educational Sector through the use of technology in schools.

This opportunity will enable you to gain valuable skills, knowledge and work experience over a 12-month period fixed term contract period. Upon qualifying for this programme and successful acceptance into the ITE Programme, you will receive:

  • Training in office applications, basic PC technician and Facilitation Skills
  • Introduction to Microsoft Technical Assistant and CompTia Fundamentals
  • Soft Skills Training (Project Management, Teamwork, Time Management, Financial Management, etc)
  • Work experience in a school PC Lab or ICT integrated classroom, with the support of a mentor
  • 15 Days annual paid leave
  • A monthly stipend

What are we looking for

  • Young vibrant, responsible, and committed adults between ages 18 to 36
  • Willingness to take responsibility for improving your personal development and workplace skills
  • Grade 12 with an interest in Information Technology
  • Basic computer literacy skills
  • Availability: Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00 (8am to 5pm) 
  • Police Clearance Certificate
